SOLD - 2002 SPORT NAUTIQUE $16500 with Ramlin Trailer

I hate to say it but I am ready for an upgrade. Looking to sell my 2002 Sport Nautique with Flight Control tower and flight clips. 5.8HO PCM engine, Recently serviced, oils changed, impeller replaced, thermostat and gasket replaced and trans was seeping oil so it was pulled and resealed.

I am the 3rd owner of this boat. I hate parting with it but I have my eye on a SV211 that I am getting a smoking deal on.

New Kenwood KMR-D772 BT head unit, with 6 new Polk DB652 interior speakers
Trailer Tires are new within last 9 months
The interior show the normal wear and tear, the observer seat needs a recover, but its usable.
Acme 422 4 blade prop, still have the 3 blade but it needs rebuild

Not really sure where to price this at, I have seen them range anywhere from 17-22K. I think that is a bit high. I will get pictures toning on my way home and upload them tonight.

Price looks good to me, it's tough to sell this time of year.

This time of year is tough but spring is coming and it gets here a lot sooner where you're at than here in Michigan.

Up here interior work is super expensive. A boat like yours is about $5K - $7K to redo an an interior. As such boats that have split seams or have bad interiors will have people running for the hills or you have to give them away. I've seen good boats with marginal interiors languish from just a couple key cushions that were coming apart. If you have a good shop that can do the work right for a reasonable price you're probably going to be better off having the boat done before anyone sees it. At least that's what's worked right for me in the past.

I've seen some of the work and pricing from C&C. The workmanship and materials look top notch but their not cheap either.

I appreciate the input, the observer seat is getting reupholstered as we speak, if I was gong to redo the entire boat I would have to raise the price for something that is absurd for the age and type of boat.

Yeah it's a balancing act for sure. It's also why a lot of those early 2000s boats have poor resale. I've flipped several boats and pretty much stay away from the early 2000s unless I can get a good deal. Almost every boat I look at from about 2001 - 2004 has ripped seams or has aged poorly. Only the truly pampered have managed to escape temporarily and will suffer the same fate once in normal service. The EPA forced all the vinyl companies to change the chemicals they were using and the vinyl during that period just sucked. I've seen boats from the early 90s with better interiors. Unfortunately it's the same with the gauge packages as well. Just some really bad years for used boats unless you have maintained the along the way.
