I pulled my heater out because I wanted to relocate my batteries in that spot. I’ve only owned the boat since last August and I’m not sure if it works. When I pulled it out the hoses were cut off and connected together off the assembly. Either way if your interested make me an offer. Comes with everything in the picture and is as is.

Just an educated guess...it was likely unhooked because it has a leak. They require extra steps in the winterization process some owners would overlook if doing it themselves. Mine was unhooked when I purchased and I pulled it out and hooked a garden hose to it and it leaked like a sieve. Maybe try that so you don’t unknowingly sell to someone and it leaks.

I’ll try that and get back to everyone. If I hook a hose up to where the hoses previously connected where should the water come out of if there is no problem? The attached vents?Comment

You can tell from the pictures that that one has been leaking. There would be no other reason for the previous owner to have looped the water lines like they did.
If you hook water up to one of the water connections, it should ONLY come out the other water connection (the two red hoses that have been cut), and nowhere else. Water has clearly been leaking from the vent without the hot air hose, which means the heater core is cracked.
