Nautique 230/236 with NSS, additional ballast, & many updates
Asking $48,000
Located in Bellevue, WA
Lots of information below, please read the listing in its entirety if you are really interested. Thanks!
This is a one of kind 2007 Nautique 236 (Same as model 230) that has been in our family since August of 2010. We purchased with 160hrs and it now has 960hrs on it and runs just as good as when we purchased it. All regular maintenance performed throughout our ownership. Always on a boat lift in fresh water and stored in heated storage ~Oct-May.
As most know here, the 236 Team Edition features every possible option from Nautique at the time of manufacturing. It is a “one of a kind” because of the upgrades that I have done over the years which gives it the features/functionality of a 2012 Nautique 230 minus the Nautique Linc system (digital screen), but at a substantial discount.
Upgrades
- NSS – Most notable upgrade! I purchased the NSS hardware kit for the 2012 boat year and installed it with manual controls. This allows you to fill up more weight on the boat and control the wave with a touch of a button. Allows you to do transfers from one side of the wake to the other which opens up so many more options for tricks
- Aftermarket ballast bags integrated into factory system. 900lbs can be put in each rear compartment
- Seadek replaced all the carpet (which ends up smelling no matter what you do) and every surface which had that Nautique plastic stuff which was impossible to keep clean.
- 5 heater ports to keep everyone warm in this pacNW climate (many of the engine hours are idle just keeping people warm)
- Brand new vinyl seating surfaces with only 1 year of use.
- ACME 2079 Prop – Zero cavitation even under heavy weight for surfing
- Complete Fusion Audio UD650 stereo system with 3 speaker zones configured, Bluetooth, phone/ipad dock, and 2x remote volume controls. Alpine PDX-V9 5 channel amplifier + additional for tower speakers
Mechanical items replaced over the years that you probably won’t have to
- Starter
- Pump for heaters
- Blower for heaters
- Alternator
- Steering Cable (drives like new!)
- Various Gas Struts through boat replaced with Stainless models
- Tune up (new sparks/plugs) done about 2 years ago
Anything wrong with the boat?
When you are buying a used boat, there are always the little things and sometimes the major things that people don’t tell you about. With this boat, you’ll know exactly what you are getting into. Fundamentally, the boat is amazing, and we were going to wait a year to sell it but found a great deal on a 2019 Nautique G25 so upgrading earlier.
Current items you will find in an inspection..
- The trailer isn’t perfect, paint chips and a little rust here or there, but is in perfect mechanical condition. Tires replaced 2-3 years ago, and brakes done around the same time at Les Schwab. has It does have a removable tongue.
- Our boat lift had these side rails which had plastic parts which damaged the “Super Air Nautique” logo on the side. I've got a new set on order to replace the "R" so should be fixed by the time a sale goes down.
- There is a small cut (3/4") in one of the vinyl panels and I had my vinyl guy just put some protective gel on it so it wouldn't get worse.
The boat is currently in our garage and you can come look at it. Water testing will need to be scheduled after garage inspection and price discussion.
Boat Description from Nautique follows…
Correct Craft's new 236 Crossover was specifically designed for people who enjoy a wide array of water sports activities. With seating for 14, optional ballast tanks adding up to 1056 pounds of wake generating weight and carrying capacity for up to nine wakeboards; it's a formidable wakeboarding platform. With a standard retractable aft ski pylon, cavernous ski locker and patented Hydro-Gate™ wake shaping mechanism, it converts to a recreational water ski boat. Or boaters can opt simply to stock the removable 50-quart cooler and the built-in 30-quart stern cooler, turn up the tunes on the standard Clarion CD/AM/FM stereo (with four Polk MoMo speakers) and take to the water for a relaxing cruise.
At 25'5" in length (includes platform), the 236 Crossover is the largest boat in Correct Craft's 2007 model line. It features comfortable open bow seating, an L-shaped settee to port of the adjustable helm seat and a large stern seat forward of the engine compartment. Another unique seating option includes a pair of removable seat backs that converts the L-shaped settee into individual aft facing seats.
For unobstructed access to the boarding platform, the boat features a convenient recessed walkthrough. With the addition of an optional filler cushion for the walkthrough, the area becomes a spacious sun lounge for resting between sets.
“The 236 Crossover facilitates everything you would like to do on the water with family and friends," said Correct Craft's vice president of sales Gary Meloon. “Granted, because of its size, you probably won't run a slalom course but it is fine for recreational skiing, wakeboarding, tubing or any other water related activity."
Other notable options include a Flight Control Tower®, a rigid air dam with a latchable door for cooler climates, a removable/ reversible bench seat and a removable side mount table with a designated storage location under the loveseat.
