We have owned this boat over 20 years and enjoyed having it, but its time to move on and I just bought a 2002 SANTE! So time to let this one go!
Here is all I can tell you about it: Around approximately 525 hours (two seasons ago the meter stopped working unless you kinda tap on it a little, currently reads 480 hours). Flame Thrower/Petronix electric ignition (no points to mess with), rebuilt carb multiple times, new mechanical gas pump 5 or so years ago. Alternator was replaced or rebuilt somewhere along the way, probably 10 years ago. Fresh wires, plugs, distributor cap end of last season. New prop 2017. Interior is in fair condition. Upholstery on the engine hood and the drivers seat is starting to open up at the seams (thread is coming undone/dry rotting). There are a few scratches along the port side from loading onto trailer, but for a 37 year old boat its not bad.
Floor is 90% solid. There is a section where the floor deck attaches to the stringer near the battery that has become detached, does not appear to be spongy or soft, it just literally pulled away like the deck material split or cracked. The observers seat needs to be bolted down as half the screws holding it in place have stripped away from the wood. I was going to pull the decking out and replace it all to fix floor and seat in one shot but just don't have the time or space to work on it.
Engine runs well. Either the oil pressure gauge or the sending unit needs to be replaced as the gauge only works intermittently - last 2 years its been like this. One speedo stopped working this year. Battery will probably be replaced in the next few weeks as it seems to be not holding a charge and is still under warranty. New boat cover 1 week ago! Trailer tires replaced 2018 or 2019. Trailer will need lights rewired and both hub covers replaced. Single axle trailer. There is no radio in the boat.
For serious buyer I can put the boat in the water for a test drive for another couple weeks. Will probably winterize it by end of October.
