Does this replace the bow roller on a boatmate? or just add underneath -
It would replace your bow roller. Some people love these, some hate them. I had one on my previous MC trailer and loved having it as it added an automatic locking point to the bow eye when driving the boat onto the trailer when I was alone. They take a bit of getting used to and can leave material from the urethane bumper on the hull if you don't spray something like 303 on it (at least that's what I used).

I'd probably have another but my trailer came with the vertical bumper pads which I'm a bit disappointed with. Probably just a "what you're use to" thing but I miss the clamp.Comment
