nautique ski racks for your boat?

dont want them, dont need them, what are they worth to you ski 'ers. they look like small racks that fit on the side of the inside gunnel? I will post pics soon. Nautiques are engraved on them.

I bought a set but have not put them into my boat yet. They are actually built for a 2002 or newer boat I believe, but I have a 2001 and had to do a little modifying. I wanted them just to keep at least two ski's up off of the floor so that they are not digging into the carpet with the fins possibly damaging it. Some of my friends don't have bags for there ski's, but that should be no reason for my boat to suffer! For those of you that do have them, are they handy or a pain? I'm kinda getting cold feet about putting them in.

I have them in my 206 and use them often. Will fit a 69 ski also. Flight clips will hold ski's but it is much easier to put them on the floor racks. I would definitely order them again on the next boat.

Quinner, do you have a second carpet in there? I can see the advantages of a pull-out carpet but doesn't that increase the oppertunity for mold and stain on the bottom layer? I like the logo and finishing - nice work.

The rear mat does get wet, generally just take it out or fold it forward to air out, the underside is all rubber so unless you bring a ton of water in the floor carpet stays mostly dry. After 2 seasons the original floor carpet is in great shape so it appears they are serving their purpose.

I am still interested in these racks but just want to confirm what these look like. Any pics? Do they look like the ones posted above on Quiners boat that are polished? Are they stainless or aluminum? Anyone know if they will fit a 1992 196 SNCB? I am definitely interested and can Payapl just waiting on a reply.
