It's going to be difficult to find a better condition/low hour/all original '89 2001. Everything is like new, no cracks/tears on vinyl, no scratches scuffs on gel coat. Meticulously detailed/maintained multiple times/yr and stored inside under cover while not in use...which is very little. I'm the second owner and bought it 4 yrs ago with 296hrs, so I've only put 35hrs. This is the second 2001 I've owned and I enjoy getting them to showroom condition and I spend more time waxing/cleaning than using it so it seems. Only one small blemish which is on one of the decals on the bow from a buffer mishap and while I have a guy who can custom make this replacement, I just haven't had time to take it to him to be done but it's easily replaceable if desired. I service it whether it needs it or not every fall and I have all the original owners manuals and buyer information from when it was purchased new. Trailer is also OEM and I have replaced the tow strap since the original one was a little frayed.
Only 2 things I've ever replaced.... the dash plates had a history of cracking and I spent months trying to find a replacement without luck until I came across a guy who had CAD plans to machine one to exact specs so I had a local company custom make one to be exactly OEM. ( I can provide these plans if new owner ever needs them) The switches also were replaced during this process since they had to be cut from the dash plate so decided to do it all new while it was apart. I also stripped the pin striping and decals and did a full wet sand/buff/polish and replaced everything with OEM decals/striping to get as perfect of finish as possible. I have the bimini in storage but have never used it and I'm not sure the owner before me used it either so its like new. This model did not come from factory with the stereo option and I wanted to keep it OEM so I just use a small bluetooth speaker which works great but the sound of the engine is better to listen to anyway.
I'm a fanatic about these 2001's and it's like owning a classic sports car and it gets so much attention on the water. Life has changed and needing a bigger boat which is the only reason to move on to the next one. You will love everything about this boat and I know I will definitely regret letting this one go. I can send videos of operation on the water if requested.
