2005 Ski Nautique 206 – the open bow ski machine!
We have loved this boat - only reason for sale is upgrade to SN 200 OB.
580 hours on PCM’s finest motor - the bulletproof 6.0L – may go up incrementally as we use it until sold
Mechanically, it’s in perfect working order. Has brand new battery, new impeller, new Mobil 1 oil + PCM filter, freshly waxed/detailed and ready to roll for summer 2023. Trailer also had a minor overhaul with new paint, bunks, carpet, and bearings.
Here are the known issues/what I’d be tackling next if I were keeping it:
-Vinyl is a 7/10 – Previous owner had most of it replaced except for the driver’s seat and part of the bow. You will see some cracking in the driver’s seat and ripped seams in the bow shown in the pictures. I also had a bird attack on the rear sunpad. I’d estimate about $2,000 to fix all of the major vinyl issues.
-Does not have cruise control. The good news is that there is a open 5”spot in the dashpod, so a super easy add. $1600 to add Perfect Pass with ZBox – the closest thing to Zero Off for mechanical throttle motors.
-Previous owner replaced factory Clarion head unit and in doing so took out the functionality of the remote control on the dashpod. The remote is still there, but does not work. Lots of after-market head unit options to get a working remote into the dashpod, about $400 depending on what you want. An audiophile probably would want to replace the speakers but they make enough sound for us.
-Previous owner had removed ballast pumps and hoses with intent to replace. It was never a priority for me so I never bothered. Wiring and empty factory ballast tank are still in place, would just need new pumps and hoses (about $150 total) to get it running again
-Trailer brakes do not presently function. Previous owner replaced hydraulic brake actuator with a standard coupler. Again, just something I had not yet got around to repairing. I do have a quote from a local shop to repair for around $700 if that’s important to you before pick up/delivery.
-Trailer swing tongue is frozen in place. I would assume a trailer or metal shop could break it loose for $100 if you needed it for garage storage
JD Power has the boat as optioned valued at $35K – listed here for $29,997 assuming you need to put about $5K into it to make it perfect. All reasonable offers considered!
