SOLD - 2002 Pro Air Nautique GT-40. 699 hours

For sale 2002 Pro Air Nautique with GT-40 Engine and 699 hours. Sad to see the boat go, but we are moving across the country and would prefer not to move it. It has been a great boat for us, my kids learned to ski behind it.

-Perfect Pass GPS speed control
-Wet sounds bluetooth receiver
-Wet sounds speakers
-Fusion sub and sub driver
-JL Audio Amp
-Bimini from Tower Bimini's new 2 seasons ago
-2 batteries both new last season with blue sea combiner/charger
-Factory ballast in place below rear storage functioning normally
-Towable cover
-Vinyl is in good condition with no major tears
-Gelcoat is in good condition with minor scratches and imperfections, no major scratches or gouges
-Single axle trailer with new tires
-Not pictured, but I have the removable jump seat for between the observer and driver

Boat was always kept in a garage over the winter and during boating season was kept on a covered boat lift with the boat cover on.

Boat is currently winterized, but I have the stuff to de-winterize so potential buyer can see it run in the driveway or we can take it out on Percy Priest.

I would alert anyone considering this boat to know that these are not the original gauges for this boat, and it is likely that the 699 hours is not accurate. Unless the tachometer was hooked to power for the amount of time necessary to bring it up to the current hours at installation, that's 699 hours since those gauges were installed. Normally I would suggest checking the PerfectPass for a more accurate hour count, but that has been updated as well on this boat, so those hours won't be correct either. Unfortunately the GT-40 ECM doesn't store hours, so the total hours on this boat are never going to be known.

EDIT: Turns out he did set the hours correctly on the new gauges! Please disregard my statement above. It is nice to see an owner do this correctly!

Thanks for pointing that out. Yes this is a known issue on boats from this time where the stock Teleflex gauges fail over time and require replacement. (See Jeff's thread here https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...eleflex-gauges).

This boat was purchased here on planetnautique with original gauges 4 years ago with around 600 hours at the time. I followed the appropriate procedure when setting up the new gauges. This includes getting a pulse generator to spoof the new gauge into thinking the motor is running so it will start counting time. Here is a picture of my setup of that:



I then left it on the pulse generator for ~25 days over the winter until the hours matched. Here is a picture of it almost done on the new gauges still not installed in the boat yet.



Hope this helps clear things up for any potential buyer. I can assure that the 699 hours are completely accurate.
