2000 Correct Craft 75^th Anniversary Air Nautique. This early version open bow Air Nautique with folding tower is the ideal boat for water skiing, wake boarding, tubing and even surfing. The power plant is a 275 hp PCM Chevy 5.0 liter fuel injected high output center mount gas engine with 807 hours. It has been well maiontained and updated with PerfectPass GPS Star Gazer speed control capable of storing settings for multiple people in each water sport. There is a ton of storage with a 14 cf stern trunk, under floor ski locker, lift up gullwing observer seat, lockable cooler, and compartments under the bow seats. The sound system is a Kenwood KMR-D358 Marine CD Receiver with front Aux & USB interface and four speakers. Much of the vinyl upholstery has been redone. A convertible bimini top provides shade and cools the cockpit on hot days. There is also a custom Sunbrella full boat cover to keep it clean and protected. The Nautique trailer is a heavy duty Dorsey single axle with disc brakes and good tires. This is a solid well-built boat in fine condition with relatively low hours for its age, offered a a good price.

I have approved this post, but I am going to give my standard disclaimer when I see posts of boats from this era with gauges that are not original.

The hours on the gauge are the number of hours SINCE THE GAUGES WERE REPLACED (unless the owner has taken the unusual step of running the gauges to match the hours on the engine). It is very likely that this engine has more hours than noted in this listing.

Anyone considering this boat should have the hours verified via Diacom (which can be done on this engine since it is a GM-based engine).

I'd have to agree. 15 hours a year over 24 years, even for a northern boat, is WAY low. The "Sports" of this era were a bit heavier boat with the tower, ballast tanks/associated plumbing, and interior features... I had the '99 version with the GT-40 and thought that was just the right motor for it. And I kept my boat light...removed tower, light on gas, jump seat in garage, and a minimum of gear. I did LOVE how much storage there was though! With the smaller motor, you'd want to keep things light. This is a very nice looking boat, with all that said. Even with average usage up north, 1200+ hours is NOT a lot of hours, and it's good to run them! I wouldn't hesitate to look at it if I was in the market for an OB.

I have had two boats with the 5.0 and I was surprised at how well they did. One was a 2003 196, and the other was a Sport. I kinda like the 5.0.

Interesting. I've only had GT-40 boats. I'd have thought 35hp would make a difference. Thanks.

I believe the engine hours displayed to be accurate but welcome any intersted buyer to verify. The Faria tachometer gauge with hour meter is consistent with other Air Nautiques of this year. The boat came from Colorado where the previous owner of 8 years purchased it. Boating seasons are quited limited there.

No, those gauges have been replaced 100%. The hours on the gauges are likely the hours since the gauges have been replaced. The gauges in it now are Nautique's replacement set for the original digital gauges, almost all of which have failed by now.

OK. I will remove references to low engine hours from my posting. However I was able to find marine service records showing only 86 hours were added over the past 7 years.
