That boat is the Original Wake Machine. 89's throw a killer boarding wake compared to all the other boats of that era.

Yeah, It definitely puts out a good wake. When I bought this boat, I looked at a few prostar 190s ( no wake at all ) and some early 90s ski nautiques. At first, I added 700 lbs of ballast, which made a really good wake, then bumped it up to about 1200 -1500. That really made the wake solid and the underdrive transmission in the 89 really helps out with the extra weight.
