    SOLD - 1982 Ski Nautique for sale_2001

Runs great. Hour meter reads 921 total hours, but a new Ford 351 engine was installed in 1995 (@245 hours by the previous owner), so only 676 hours on this engine. Well taken care of for many years. I’ve given this boat a lot of TLC and she’s always been good to me. I’ve owned her for the last 500 engine hours of use and she’s always had plenty of horsepower (265 hp) to pull anybody or anything you want.

The 2001 hull was first sold by Correct Craft in 1982 and was their flagship hull until 1989 when they did a redesign, but this hull design is a solid performer. This boat has been great for all water sports (wakeboarding, slalom skiing, tubing, etc.), but it has an especially sweet wakeboarding wake, which is why I installed the tower a couple years ago. If you love a great wake to launch off of, this is the boat for you and it sure is a lot more affordable than one of those new wakeboard boats. Unfortunately knee injuries are stopping my wakeboarding, so I’m moving to a dedicated slalom skiing boat and passing this along to a good home that will show her several more years of good water sports.

•Includes an all galvanized Correct Craft trailer.
•Monster Tower (tower folds together for easier covering or transportation). Tower is anodized aluminum and has some surface spots on it, but nothing that affects is structural integrity. ($1200 value)
•Two Monster Tower board racks are available for $200 more if desired by the purchaser of the boat (this is half price of the new ones). They have a one-lever release mechanism. Otherwise I will keep them and sell them independently.
•CD stereo in water-tight enclosure with two marine speakers
    •Teak platform
•Recently redone upholstery (ordered from Correct Craft) with color striping to match the exterior.
•All maintenance records available: electronic ignition installed, all parts replaced with OEM parts, carburetor rebuilt in 2006, oil changed regularly (~50 hours) and raw water impeller changed every season, almost all electrical parts changed out within the last couple years, so all parts are real current
    •31 gallon fuel tank
    •Floor is all good
•The only thing that doesn’t work is the fuel gauge (but it’s never worked in the 8 years I’ve owned it and hasn’t been a problem with the 30 gallon fuel tank…you can run all day and you’ll be fine)
•Fiberglass gel coat in good shape, always covered or stored in doors. Some fiberglass scratches and some fading on the hull striping (not bad for 25 year old boat)
•2 small side windshield windows missing, but not a big deal. Considering it air conditioning.
    •Never stored in the water
•Comes with a matching maroon bimini top, but it can’t be used when the tower is up.
•Comes with a boat cover, but it will likely need to be replaced soon

Correction to my posting for the 1982 Ski Nautique

Apparently my typing is not too sweet, because I meant to say in the title that it has a "sweet" wake for wakeboarding. Not really sure what a sweek wake is, but I'll let you know when I find out.

Also, I manged to leave out the price I'm asking. I'm asking $7000 and I live on the south side of Houston in a ski neighborhood, so if you're interested in it, give me a buzz to line up a look and a test drive.
