I am reconfiguring the fleet so to speak. Tried to use this boat as the family boat and my ski boat and have this be our only boat for obvious reasons. My wife hates it, so I am getting a 196 and she is getting a 210.

I would sell the tower and buy the 210. Keep the 206 and ski it. That is a nice looking boat that is loaded up.

I am buying one other boat....the 196. The 210 is her boat. I have no use for a boat of that size and a motor in the trunk. :grin:

Tower movement

I have ordered a 07 206, but a friend of mine had problems with his 07 206 and his tower moving side to side, AND then having the gunnels on his boat move as well. Did you experience anything like that? Do you have speakers on it?

H20skier on this forum recently mentioned a similar problem with his 206. Very curious what the cause of this turns out to be, our 05' 206 has never had any issues like that.

I can't say that I have had any issues like that. The only thing that I have noticed is that when I am trailering the boat, the tower seems to shake a lot. Maybe that is what you are referring to. When I get home tonight I will see if I can create the side to side movement that you are describing. Are you experiencing it when driving the boat or moving it by hand?
