WOW! I cant believe this thing didnt sell!

I have a 2005 SANTE loaded to the hilt with only about 140 hours on it now(see post a couple threads down). I listed it originally for around $50K and have been dropping it over the last couple of weeks. I put it up on Ebay for $45000 and I didnt even get one bid on it. I know its later in the season, but jeeez. Are these boats not worth that anymore? I have seen a couple of boats on here sell for inbetween $42-$45K that are 2 years older and that have many more hours.

I have had a couple of people tell me to lower the price from $50K, which I have done, and take off the stickers. Do the stickers really make that much of a difference? Should I remove them?

I thought for sure that this boat would have been gone by now for $45000. What am I doing wrong with the listing?

Hey, don't worry. I think those things are taking a lot longer to sell. It is a high dollar item and people's budgets are tighter today. It's a nice boat, and I would buy it if I could. My problem is length restriction on my main location and I too have a boat with a "bold" color scheme to get rid of also. I have a teal and marigold ski...not the most common colors. I had to have it when I saw it though, because nobody else had one like it. It just takes that one person to buy it.

Personally I would ditch all the stickers, get some better shots of the boat with a better background setting and more favorable lighting/less shadows, assuming that is a nice bimini open it up for the photo's. Although it is a tough time of year to sell it is a really cool looking boat, it should sell.

It'll go. Mine took a little while to sell too. Take the stickers off and find someone who wants orange.

I appreciate the support guys. Here's a link the ended ebay auction with 24 pictures of the boat at all different kinds of angles with the bimini up and everything.

I will take off the stickers later this week, but for anybody interested, the stickers were put on this year and I guarantee there is no sun fade around them. Ive only had the thing out in the daylight about 6 times this year. Work and this injury to my knee have killed it for the year.

Anyways, thanks again for the support. With any luck, this one will sell and Ill be in my new 210........errr, maaaaaaybe a new 230! next year!

Cowboyup, how many Nautiques have you gone through in the last year? Market is flooded with wakeboats right now, everyone is ditching their 1-5 year old boats to get in the *new* models.

I have an offer of $43K for the boat. I personally think I can get at least $44-$45K out of it. What does everyone think? Should I sell it for $43K or hold out for something else or even wait until next season. Thanks for the input!

I can't believe you have not sold it either but it should sell you just have to find the right buyer. I just sold my 02 SANTE with 170hrs for 39,500 I would venture to say your boat is easily worth what your asking 45k

have you tried advertising in states that have a strong college affiliation? Try tennessee, they love everything orange, correct craft even made an all orange boat for a tennessee vol fan. Figure out what colleges have the orange color scheme, Syracuse Ny, Gainesville fl, etc. etc.
