1987 Correct Craft Ski Nautique "2001" GREAT PROJE

Well....the time has come to sell my boat. I purchased the boat last year around October and it went through some changes over the winter but still needs some lovin. I will be very blunt and honest about this sell so here we go. I want $6600.00 for this boat.

    The not so good:

The interior stripe was burgundy, so I pulled all the pieces out, sanded them down, and sprayed them with dupont vinyl and fabric paint, just as a temporary fix, because I hate burgundy. The stripe was painted black, and the rest was sprayed bright white. It set me back about $50.00, for a really clean look, although the vinyl was still torn in small areas.

The trailer was burgundy….so my friend and I, scuffed the trailer down and sprayed it black. It was another quick fix to get rid of the ugly burgundy. It looks ok….but really needs a good coat of single stage black paint, to get it right.

The motor runs really good when it gets warmed up, however probably needs a little tune-up. When launching the boat, you have to let it idle for 2 minutes before backing it off the trailer or it will die. Also…ever since the day I bought the boat the hour gauge has never worked. But….in all honesty the boat REALLY RUNS GOOD….and HOLDS speed like no other.

The stickers and graphics on the sides of the boat are gone and the gelcoat is sanded because I was going to have the boat sprayed black with Dupont Imron paint, but decided to sell the boat as is. Also prior to paint I knew I wanted the stress cracks on the sides gone so they wouldn’t reappear after the paint job, so I sanded them out and filled them with Marine-TEX.

    The good:

    1. It is a 87 a.k.a "2001" hull...so with a little weight this boat throws a VERY, VERY nice wake.
    2. It has brand new front and rear wood flooring and parts of the stringer on one side was redone.
    3. The carpet is brand new.
    4. The deck has a fresh coat of bright white single stage paint, that looks decent.
    5. It has somewhat of a pylon made of Irrigation piping with a cable running towards the front to the lifting ring.
    6. The trailer has brand new tires.
    7. Boat holds speed very well.

Give me a call at 1-252-205-1410 or email me at kevin_basss@yahoo.com for any questions you have regarding this boat.

Maybe you should try dropping the price $2-3k. I dont know anyone idiotic enough to pay nearly $6k for a project boat.

Not being negative, just truthful. I really don't see you getting $5,800. Good luck!
