1986 Ski Nautique with Trailer
This boat runs and starts great! I bought it two years ago and have put approximately 50 hours on it since that time. Majority of use has been slalom and barefoot.
Interior of boat needs some work. If I was keeping the boat I would reupholster the engine cover and drivers seat bottoms. Other seats are in good shape. Carpet could be redone. Stringers appear solid and based upon the size of the wake when skiing I do not feel there much if any trapped water in the floation of the boat.
Exterior of boat is in good shape for the age of the boat. No major scracthes on sides or deck of boat. Hull has one scracth that appears to have been caused by a boat lift (this was here when I got the boat). It was also on my list to take the MC stars of the boat. Prior owner had these on the boat. They could easily be removed and Ski Nautique added back on. For what I used the boat for (purely skiing) I wasn't to concerned with the stars although I do realize they are not the ideal thing to have on the side of your Correct Craft.
Boat pulls strong, starts right up, idles strong. Boat has great oil pressure. All gauges work on the boat.
Boat sits on a 2005 Phoenix Trailer. This trailer alone would cost approximately $3.000 from a dealer.
Boats hour meter reads 1,500 HOWEVER, the prior owner (Nautique dealer in Ohio) but a newer engine in it. The engine in it is out of a Martinique and has approximately 400 hours on it (350 put on by prior owner). I have no reason to doubt what this dealer told me as he was a very well known Nautique dealer and based on the way this engine runs and performs I have no reason to doubt.
Boat comes with snap cover that is in OK shape. No cuts or tears but does so some sun fading.
Boat is located in Rockford, Illinois and is available for water test.
