SOLD - 2001 Air Nautique $13,000 obo

2001 Air Nautique, tower, galvanized tandem axle trailer. This was a ski school boat so it runs great and is very responsive. The boat has 800 hours, the engine was rebuilt at 600 hours so there are 200 hours on the rebuild. Please call with any questions as I am not on the computer daily. 619.952.0079. Its not a AIR/sport is it?? It looks like a ski with a tower. Am I missing something here??

I thought they were just "Air" when they were direct drives and "super air" as v-drives. I'm not sure what makes a "sport' in either case.

Also, doesn't look like the trailer fits right....or maybe it isn't all the way on.

Finally, why doesn't anyone oil their platform before they take the picture. Dried teak is a turn off.

There was the Air/sport they were based off of the 21' hull (direct drive). They are the same boat except the air has a tower, tanks and different graphics. The boat in the picture is a ski nautique that someone put a tower on. Its just a little misleading to say it a AIR boat. I could be wrong but I dont think that the ski was ever offered as a AIR.

If you check the original ad, you can see that we already had this discussion. CC sold the Air 196 in 2002, which was just a SNOB with the tower. Like Naughty mentioned, you can see it in the '02 brochure.

Clearly the boat needs some attention. No amount of teak oil is going to trick anyone into thinking the boat was well taken care of! For the right price, someone will be willing to put some work into it. Im sure the platform is the least of this boat's problems.

Why would you ever trash a boat like that? I realize it was a ski school boat with alot of people in and out of it, but the sight of that makes me sick!
