a carb motor? Something fishy about that. Werent they all injected in 97?

Nope, it was an option for a few years after but it's pretty rare. Personally if I was ordering a new boat back then I'd toss in the few grand for the GT40 or the Apex for resale alone, which is the rationale for the rarity of these carb versions. I don't understand how you'd pay 35k for a boat (in 97) and not toss in a few more for the MPI motor, but I guess some did.

good info to know, thanks M3Fan. I thought 96+ were all injected, I guess as a typical rule that is mostly true with a few exceptions like this here.

MC went all EFI in 1994, but with TBI units, except for the Vette motor.

I've been looking at the TSC1 boats for several years (kind of casually shopping) and I've come across quite a few of the Carb motors.

Joel's right about the TBIs in the MCs. They had that TBI motor as their base motor until they went all MPI in 2004 or so. I was surprised that CC still had a 275 hp TBI at this point. I don't think I've seen too many boats with it, certainly not as many as I have TSC1s with carbs.

Apparently the boat has 750 hours. Kind of high for that year.

10 to 11 years old and 750 hours, I wouldn't say that is high. Sounds reasonable to me for someone who enjoys their boat.

I checked on this boat before the new interior was put in last summer. Boat was not well kept and had to have a new interior. It could have been bought for $9500 before the redo.
