I was thinking the same thing. That range covers two very distinct models, plus the transfer to no-wood construction.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. I have a 92 SNCB I would be willing to part with for the right price. Rebuilt transmission, new skins(not factory), New Dimension tower, new carpet some other things. Price range
I was looking at a couple of different things. I like the fact that the newer (93 on up) is mostly wood free. But I am not sure I can afford much more than $12-$13
I mostly barefoot, and some salom, but have a wife and kid who like to kneeboard.
Don't know if I am too excited about the towers. I am kinda old school.
My opinon, towers are cheeting. Don't see much result for the extra cost.Comment

W.U.S.S., I understand about old school. I didn't want one either but it came on my 211. Still don't use it for towing, but it's great for holding a bimini and balance when moving around the boat. Also, I don't have them but racks would be nice to get gear out of the way.
Anyway, just a thought. I wouldn't discount a boat just because it has a tower. But I can't say I'd put one on a boat that didn't have one.Comment

Load your skis in the racks on the tower and you'll be glad they are there. It really clears up the floorspace in a closed bow boat. I also hang my towels when I am just chilling on the anchor.Eric FoxComment
