    WTB: 03+ Pro Air Nautique

My Dad is looking for a 03 or newer Pro Air Nautique with low hours.

Ideally I would like a Tower w/rack, Ballast (preferably one with additional Ballast, I know thats a long shot)

    Want a trailer.

Any help would be great, good deals on older than 2003 is cool.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I think Pro Air is direct drive...right? 03 or newer will be a 206 or 216. The 216 had some ballast..maybe more than one tank.

Some 206's had 200lbs in the trunk.

You can study it all here http://www.correctcraftfan.com/reference/brochures.asp

AirTool is correct. The Pro Air was only made from 1999 to 2002. Maybe you are thinking of a Super Air, which is definitely the boat of choice for wakeboarding.

Sorry guys I meant a 216 w/ ballast. I know they can come with rear tanks.

Ideally I would like to find him a 216 because he skis and wants the Direct Drive but my little brother is a wakeboarder and will probably want to plumb in as much additional ballast as possible.

They went and drove a 211 in west TN the other day and both were very disappointed, I still believe in the 211 and think it was that specific boat as well as driver/equipment error. The center ballast would not fill, and my dad forgot his ski rope and was estimating 28'0ff using a wakeboard line. When I have skied the 211 i thought 28 off@34 mph it was not much more of a bump than the 90 sport we are all used to. Either way he writes the checks and wants a DD 216. Any help locating one would be great. Thanks.

ok so I just checked to be sure and the brochure says 324# to be exact. Mine has two separate tanks, and I know later they went to a single tank with only 200# ballast.

I haven't skied in a while. The other day I skied behind my Sport (DD) with a wakeboard line and it sucked. I would sort of jump the wake, but I believe it was due to the wakeboard line. I suggest trying it with a ski line.

Yeah, exactly what I said but Dad is soo against V-drives i think thats what he needed to convince himself to stick with DD, but I will definitely recommend it.

O6 models like mine had no ballast. The trunk ballast was for trick and the gate fixed that problem so they scrapped the ballast. I wish there was a 200+ port side bag in the hull to ballast down the port when I'm the only one in the boat. These boats are port/starboard sensitive something crazy. Tomorrow...if the wife doesn't go, I'm taking a big sac to lay along the port side to keep the wake symetric.

That is sad...because he could just buy this one....it is pretty nice in my opinion.

                      Hey Kevin,

If you are still looking, my boss is looking to sell her 2006 216. It does have the factory 2 rear ballast tanks as well it has the tower. It has just under 50 hours. yes, 50. IT has always been serviced at the selling dealer and has only been in two lakes. The boat drives great, is easy to ski behind and puts out a good wake as you may already know for wakerboarding/surfing! Only reason to sell is to upgrade to a SA210. If you need more info/pictures, let me know. Trailer included/Bimini top.
