Wanted Boat Private Financing

I am looking for a boat between 10-20k and not real picky as mine was just hit and I have an insurance check, but not enough for a new boat and can't seem to find any bank that will loan money on some of the older boats in this price range.

My credit union was willing to finance my 78 Nautique if I wanted. I doubt anyone will want to do this unless they are one of your friends.

Thanks thought it would be worth a try I work at a bank and if this would have been tried 2 years ago no problem, but all the banks in my are very strict I sold my home this way on a land contact was just throwing a feeler out there to see if anyone wanted to get rid of their boat this way. If you write up a contract it is safe but again any sellers wanting to look at this I will provide down payment.

Well had a deal that fell through went down to buy a boat and went to take out and it wouldent start. Took to local dealer, and turned out there were alot of problems with it so I decided not to purchase.
