Looking for a Nautique in trade

I'm looking to trade my '72 Camaro for a Nautique of equal value. I am located in Victoria, Texas, about 120 miles southwest of Houston.

1972 Camaro frame-off resto-modified about 5 years ago by Endangered Species in Houston, Texas. Blower and Ignition installed and tuned by Good Guys Race Cars in Victoria, Texas. I am the second owner since resto-mod. Street legal, runs on pump gas.

    Engine:

FRESH (less than 50 miles) SBC 400
Wieand 671 Blower (Pulleys currently set up @ 20% Underdriven for street)
    Forged 4340 Steel Crank
    Lunati Camshaft
Dual Barry Grant Demon 625 Inline Blower Carbs
    Wieand Intake
    J&E Racing Pistons
    MSD Distributor
    MSD Boost Retard
    ProComp 6AL and Coil
    ProComp 10.5mm Wires

    Transmission/Rearend/Suspension:

    700R4 Automatic
    B&M Shift Kit
    B&M Mega Shifter
    3.42 Moser Gears
    10 Bolt Rearend
    Superior 28 Spline Axles
    Powertraxx Locker Differential
    Comp Engineering Rea Race Shocks
    KYB Front Shocks
    Hotchkis Front Springs

    Interior:

Replacement PDU Front & Rear Seats (like new, no scuffs, tears, scratches, etc)
    Replacement Headliner
    Replacement Carpet
    Replacement Dash Pad
Autometer 5" Tach with Shift Light

    Tires/Wheels:

Brand New 17" American Racing Torque Thrust II
    Front: Dunlap 245/45R17
    Rear: Dunlap 255/60R17

I have two hoods, one is the original hood that came with the car when I purchased it, the other is one I planned on cutting a hole in for the blower.

    Thanks for looking.

    Jay

      Ha! Yeah well....good point!

Thanks! It is a really fun car, built right. I just have a hankering to get my old a** back on the water! I had a Nautique about 15 years ago and had a blast with it!

She's a beaut!!! The best of luck to you. As a certified car nut, and other things, you're NOT old if you want to get on the water and do your thing. Go for it.

Yes, the family has alot more fun in the boat than they did with the hot rod!! Sure do miss it though. Good luck.

SNMike...a Challenger AND a Charger!?! Nice! Those are beautiful cars! I built this Camaro because I thought I needed a "Street Rod". HA! I have an '81 Drag Camaro, best pass is a 10.12 quarter with a 100 shot of the blue bottle. 10.5" tire car. It's a blast. I found that the '72 sits in the garage nearly all of the time. I recently purchased an RV and we started going back out to the lake on weekends, and quite frankly it blows sitting watching everyone on the water!! I'm hoping to either sell it or trade it pretty quick...it's getting to be prime time!

@ski4evr: Yeah, you're exactly right...the family doesn't hesitate to jump in the RV and head to the lake for the weekend, but couldn't pay 'em to ride to San Antonio or Austin for a car show!!

            Thank y'all for the compliments!

Focus on selling it and forget the trade.

I sold the Charger SRT8 at the end of '07 when my business showed signs of slowing. Good call, I'm a contractor. Nuff said there huh?!

I showed the Challenger SRT8 today for the last time................well for awhile. Next weekend, wifey and I are hitting the course till November.

GREAT numbers on your ride btw. Most others in the next lane only saw your rear lights waving bye bye.

AT is right, I'd sell it out right, then start your search for the key to slalom heaven.

                Regards!!

                Mike
