Possible trade anyone?

Hey guys, I have a 98 Super Sport in great condition with 602 hours. I have a deposit down on a G23 which I won't get until late next season (the PN boat...thank you Jeff and White Lake.) In the meantime, I was considering trading my boat for a 98 or 99 Sport Nautique with a GT-40. I would need a few thousand in cash to make up the difference in value depending on condition. This way I can get a nice crossover boat and use a few grand towards a lift. A few notes on my boat (if I don't trade it, it will be for sale late next season): well-maintained GT-40. Tandem Axle eagle trailer with new tires and wheels as of May of last year. New ACME prop for wakeboarding. '06 Flight Control Tower with spinner board racks. New Kenwood Head Unit, Kicker Sub, JL amp, Polk speakers, and Kicker HLCD tower speakers. Cover. Tower bimini. Freshwater flush. New steering cable. Upholstery is in good condition with no major issues. Gel Coat also in good condition with minor nicks and scratches. What I'm looking for: 98 or 99 Sport with Gt-40 and FCT tower and trailer. Just looking for something that I can use for skiing because the G23 isn't exactly a ski boat. I have more pics of mine if anyone wants them. Boat is in storage in Wise, VA. Willing to drive for a nice boat. Anyone interested?

we might be able to work something out if you're still looking... I am planning on upgrading to a v-drive in a couple of years, so this might make it a little less of a necessity. I have a 98 sport with an added FCT2 tower and updated graphics. It has a GT40 with only 170ish hours. The only problem is that im having fuel delivery problems that started at the end of last year that I havent quite figured out yet - so I would need to wait until I did to trade. well, that - and the fact that im in Reno, NV. let me know if you're interested and I'll send you some more pics.

Hey Sea Chicken, did you happen to buy that boat in NJ last March? If so you JUST beat me to it. I talked to that seller a few times and gave him a better offer before he had a deposit from you but you already had a verbal agreement to come get it and he didn't want to back out of that. My wife and I were really bummed but it all worked out in the end. We ended up driving a lot further but spent less and got a Python that needed some cosmetic TLC but she got the love that she needed. Good luck with your sale, that is a great boat if it is the one I think it is.

Yes I did buy that boat in NJ last March. Previous owner is a member on here. How do you like that big 502? It looks good and I bet it sounds mean. RideButter, thanks for the referral. pSchwade: Since gas will be $4 a gallon, I don't know if it would be a good idea to spend a grand to trade boats this summer. I do like a good road trip to pick up a boat though! It looks like a solid boat.

The Python is great, plenty of power for moving a bunch of ballast and nice and reliable. As for the sound, it's amazing but early morning sessions aren't quite as stealthy as they used to be haha

Good luck with your sale/trade that is a great looking boat. I love the classic gel coat scheme with the updated tower and racks.
