Thanks, acs220. Nice boat. I should have mentioned, $45K is the very top of my budget. Hoping to find a boat closer to $40K if possible. Is this your boat, or one you had seen while surfing the net?

      Thanks again.

It's not a 210 and its far away, but you could ship it and stay under your budget. It is a fantastic deal(if it checks out).

Just saw it on ebay. I usually stalk once a week so see what's out there.

I'll put in my $0.02, for your budget, you will need to get lucky to get an '08, I would target an '07. Just know, not a lot of 210 inventory out there. I helped a friend purchase an '07 210, and he had to ship a boat about 2,000 miles to get what he wanted!
That 220 somebody posted above is a great deal...you won't get a very good ski wake out of it, but it will wakeboard and surf great!

                All -

I'm focused on 210's, however the 220 mentioned above is a very nice boat. Other than 220's not having a good ski wake (mentioned above), what other differences are there between 210's and 220's (other than one foot in length)? Thanks!

The 220 has an amazing surf wave and a very good wakeboard wake but it is sensitive to weight side to side. The side to side weight isn't a big issue, you just might have to move a person or 100 LBs of lead to balance things out. I feel as though the 220 is also a much deeper boat with more freeboard because it feels a lot bigger than a 210 but that might just be my perception. The 220 will handle rough water much better than a 210. The 220 has a different interior setup than most V-drives because it has built in lean backs behind the driver and spotter seat. When I saw this in brochures I didn't like it but after being in a 220 for a few minutes I really started to like it and it is quite comfortable. The 220 like the new 210 has a reversable stern seat that can face backwards in the middle of the boat which is a great viewing spot for watching riders.

In case you don't know you are also looking at two different 210's in the year range you are looking at. 95-2006 is the original 210 and 2007 is the new 210 that is still current today. The old 210 is a little longer but narrower beam so it is a much smaller boat. The old 210 will give you an epic wakeboard wake with ease. With the narrow beam it takes less weight to get to pro level wakes. The surf wave is workable but nothing compared to the new 210 or 220. The 2002-2006 210 will have an L shaped seating arrangement with the space behind the drive being left open. The 07 210 has the same style interior as a 220 minus the built in lean backs. In 08 they modified the deck to make the seating like it is today.

                    Shawn,

                    Extremely helpful. Thank You.

A 2004 Nautique just came on the forum with a ZR6 engine. I believe the standard is a PCM 330. What difference would I notice between the two? Thanks again!

No problem, glad to help. Hopefully somebody that has more experience behind the new 210 can help detail that wake for you because I have only been behind it once but I liked it and I have always heard good things about it.

That 2004 looks really nice and fairly priced. I think that version ZR6 makes 375 HP. As long as it is propped correctly for the amount of ballast you are using I think both engines will work fine so I would not be inclined to pay a premium for the ZR6 in a 210. I think the ZR6 is closed cool so if you will be using it in brackish or salt I would definitely lean that way but otherwise I wouldn't worry too much about which engine you go with as they are both quite capable in a 210. I have never been in the same model boats with each engine so I don't have a direct comparison. My only experience with the ZR6 is in a 211 and a 220 whereas in the old 210s I have been on where all GT40s, Excals or my Python. The GT40 and Excal are both very capable. You WILL notice and hear the 430 HP in the Python but I'll be the first to admit it is overkill....sweet sweet overkill!

What do you think of attached? What is a good buy on this boat? Opinions on the yellow/white combo? Thanks!
