1998-1999 Ski Nautique- any one considering selling?

All- I know i am looking for a very specific boat, but are there any owners of a 1998-1999 Ski Nautique in Silver Cloud/Black with a tandem trailer who would/are considering selling? Please let me know.

Why did you exclude 1997? The bottom swing tag and a smaller engine box are about the only differences.

        I second rodltg2.

Selling has never been a serious thought, but I would consider it. It is not an exact match, but pretty close. Trailer was just rebuilt. It is a 1999 Ski Nautique Open Bow. Great condition. It has around 500 hours. I am the second owner. Let me know if you are interested.

You are asking for the world if you are going to try and get a very specific color combo AND a tandem trailer. You MIGHT be able to get them separate, but no way in heck it's going to happen together.

I have only ever seen about 3-4 Ski Nautique 196's on tandem trailers prior to 2007.

I would also like to know why you exclude 1997 boats?

BrennanK- I realize this will take some patience- but I do see them from time to time. I would consider buying them separate and have been looking for that opportunity as well. I would certainly take a 97'- but I have also read they can have some idle flare issues. It seems this is a resolvable ECM issue. I am/have been looking for an early 02' with a GT-40.

Brennank I sold my 97 silver cloud black and blue in April. It also had a tandem trailer. They are out there. It went in less than 24 hours. I never had any engine problems. It was an awesome boat. An 02 with a GT-40 would be pretty sweet. I was lucky enough to get my 02 with the GT and I love it. I was never in a hurry or really that serious. I casually looked for 3-4 years and then there it was a four hour drive away when I bought the 02. Bonus was that it only had 99 hours.

What is the attraction to the tandem axle trailer? With the 98-99 ski weighing around 2400lbs it would be hard to justify at the time of purchase. I loved my 99' ski, I purchased it in 2003 with 14.7 hours on it. It towed like butter on the single axle prestige wishbone style trailer.

There is a 99' on ebay in MN, Its not your color, but if cheap enough it could be wrapped and trailer upgraded.

Nice looking ski in Michigan with part of your color requirement.

I don't care for a tandem trailer. But my 1999 is my baby. Probably sleeps better than me. Carpeted floor and double insulated garage with movie theatre curtains. It's the best boat I have ever owned ! Click image for larger version

Sounds pretty close to my '97. It is too nice for me to sell though. Good luck with your search!

I am not sure if I should thank you or not . I appreciate the picture though and that is exactly what I am looking for. If you would ever consider selling, would you kindly let me know?

I have a 2000 built in June of 2000 with 1300 hours on it. I was a lake boat in Northern California that was used as a practice boat for the Malibu open in 2004. It pulled several skiers through 39 1/2. I hate to sell it but my son just got his PhD and is moving to England for 3 years so I have no one to Ski with. I just had the rear engine and front transmission seal done last winter and removed the gas tank flushed it and replaced the steering cable. The dealer said I needed new manifolds and risers so I bought them to put on. When I went to removed the old ones they were still better than 1/2 thickness, so I have new manifolds and risers available. I am asking $15500.00 Its a super boat and just spent a week at Bass Lake pulling good skiers. PM me and I'll send more pictures. Click on my signature for a picture.
