    WTB 1999-2002 Ski Nautique 196 w/ Python

I have been looking for a 1999-2002ish Ski Nautique 196 with a Python for a long time. Its like finding a needle in a hay stack. Does anyone know of one for sale that i may have missed??

Yep, pretty much a needle in a haystack with that request. In years of watching Ski Nautiques for sale I have only seen one Ski Nautique with a Python ever for sale. You could get close by buying my carbed 98 Ski Nautique and putting a custom built/bored motor in it. Unfortunately the Chevy motors are easier to build-up than the Ford (flame suit on as the Ford guys will probably chime in and say the opposite).

My boat with a built LSX chevy would probably outperform a Pyton in all aspects but putting a $15,000 motor upgrade in a $15,000 boat is a questionable investment...

    Good Luck!

It is propped for right at 50-52, but it gets there fast! Feels like it wants to jump out of the water. Very fun boat to drive for sure.

              Cole,
Just out of curiosity, does your python use oil as well? I have heard it's normal for them to use some oil..
