Looking for a Nautique in NC

Looking for a nautique v-drive in NC with a $25k cash budget.

Any age or other limitations? I just looked at onlyinboards.com and then at White Lake, there is a 96 Super Sport for 17K, so that would leave some $ for a tower/system or other changes you would like to make. I don't know where in NC you are, but I always check craigslist too.

Thanks nuke mustang, I really like the first one and I actually talked to Cori at MarineMax about that one yesterday and he said it was already under contract. The second one must have just been listed because I had not seen it until now, going to call them. I really don't want to travel to FL.

What's the difference between a super sport and a air nautique or a super air?

"What I have come to learn googling the topic is that the first Nautique V drive was the 1995 Super Sport but it was not intended to be a wakeboard boat (did not originally come with a tower), it was intended to be a "family run about" type boat. During this time I guess Natique was trying to make wakeboard specific boats with a DD. So a V-drive becomes the Super Sport, add a tower becomes Air Nautique? Not sure how the "Super" part was added, maybe ballast options?

I can understand not wanting to drive too far, but its still fairly warm down there, meaning easier test/demos? I did the opposite, I drove from SC to MD a few months ago, but it was for a specific boat I was looking for. Good Luck with the search

Would you be interested in a 1996 Super Sport? It has a GT-40 with 512 hours. Throw a Roswell Aviator tower on there and you'd be all set! Looking for 17K for this one. Let me know if you're interested.

I believe technically the first V-drive correct craft made was way back (not sure the year) maybe the 60's? I swear I saw an old pic of one somewhere but I could be wrong. Then 1991 with the Excel and Barefoot Nautiques till 1994 (they had a pretty deep hull which makes finding a trailer for them a little difficult. Then the Super Sport came out which was a V-Drive. The Super Sport and Super air of those few years are the same hull, and the designation 'Air Nautique' was reserved for direct drive boats only, if I am correct. Really, that 1996 Super Sport is a great boat, I can't remember how they surf though.

I have a 2003 super air nautique 210. Excalibur 330, 325 hours. It is in excellent shape, always stored covered in my climate controlled warehouse. Has a single axle trailer as well that is serviceable, but not great. I can get some pics, would be easiest to text them. You can reach me any time at 336-905-0210. Just had the boat serviced and had new belts and hoses put on. Great boat, I just don't use it enough anymore. I am in High Point, NC.
