    WTB 2006-2008 Nautique 226

Looking to buy a Nautique 226 boat. Looking for a nice, clean used wakeboard boat. Tower speakers, ballasts, etc...

My price range limits me to around the 2006 - 2007 range. Let me know if anyone has one they are looking to sell.

    Thanks

    MC

I have a 226, but not for sale. Sorry. Will keep an eye out for you. Super clean 226s are getting harder to find. I got lucky and found mine from original owner who stored in his heated garage. Went from his to mine.

With a wider deck, excellent cruising and rampy wakes, these are really popular with families. Also popular with salt water users. I upgraded my rear ballast and the wake gets nicely steep. My kids are college and teen and they can use these wakes for all - spins, inverts, etc. Wife and I like the rampy wake for wake to wakes, surface tricks, grabs, etc. Surfing is good for goofy footed. We like to put in a few friends and cruise the lake. Set up the table and have a nice lunch.

Good luck. Will keep an eye out! Let me know what part of the country youre looking to buy.

Thank you for the reply. I think anywhere from like NC to Colorado. West coast is a little to far. Midwest would be ideal. I found a couple around Wisconsin but they were either gone when I called or like a 2005 with no ballasts.

Ballast was available in '05 as well. Mine is an '05 with 875 lbs stock, upgraded to 1375 lbs. The hulls didnt change from '03 to '09 or so. May want to call Dianne at White Lake Marine in NC. They have a pretty good bead on used boats. They have an '03 - I think - not sure about ballast, etc. If I could afford a 236 I would put mine on the market. 236 is a longer 226!

In Baton Rouge, LA theres a nice 06 with ballast. Says 100 hours. Another one in Austin TX. Both boats are on Craigslist.

Buxton has 2. One a little older than your looking for and one a little newer but they are the best I the business about getting you in a boat. It would be worth your time to give them a call. Largest by volume dealer in the country and probably know where more are.

That 2013 is nice but a little out of the price range. Thank you for the post.
