    September 2016: WTB Super Clean 210 - V-Drive / SAN - in San Diego - 500 mile range

I live in North San Diego County. Am a cash buyer. Ready to pull the trigger. Looking to spend up to $25kish for a very nice 210 V-drive and trailer.
    • Critical is near perfect gelcoat and interior vinyl. Value perfect pass and upgraded ballast.
    • Should have a tower - could install one, but would expect price adjustment for toward tower purchase.
    • Willing to drive up to 500 miles and haul home, but would need lots and lots of pictures / video, etc. upfront.
    • Please don't bother if the boat spent some time living outside of a covered storage. Faded gelcoat, bad interior, stress cracks, etc. is a non-starter.
    • Open to different colors. Prefer blue and white or similar, but open.
    • Not put off by higher usage hours, if maintained properly with records but would value accordingly. Priority for me is definitely excellent condition.

    Thank you,

    Doug W.

    Doug,

We have a 2003 Super Air 210 Team Edition and are in San Diego. Asking more than your posted $25K, but thought it couldn't hurt to look and see if it was something you'd consider. Excellent condition. MOTIVATED TO SALE. Has been stored outside - but ALWAYS covered.

Posted on craigslist. Just type in Nautique and it pops up first page.

Hi, thank you. Is this the $38.5k asking? If so, how did you come up with your asking price? I wrote a text to Denise without reply.

Doug, the boat has been completely gone thru professionally, to include a NEW updated motor with upgraded exhaust, cruise control system to GPS, etc., etc. etc. Fully functional!

Hi. Looks very nice - I've pored over the photos.

With every respect.... I can't assign much if any value to a new engine in a boat with 330 hours. The engine was new already. To me this is kind of like putting a new engine in a car with 10k miles. 330 hours x 30 mph = about 10k miles - even if all freeway and that's 25k miles tops. See what I mean? These engines last 5k hours and beyond if maintained.
A very nice GPS cruise control system is $1300. Hydrophase - check it out. I've used it and has a modern and large user interface with a simple dial to adjust the speed.

Looks like your boat has been used in salt given the mission bay pictures which is fine but also affects value and coupling that you are saying it wasn't stored indoors suggests to me it will be a very tough sell at $15k to $16k above the market price.

Please take no offense. I've done a lot of research and have a good handle on the market. Not trying to beat you up in any way nor evoke a pissing match.

I'm prepared to pay market price. That's about it.

Denise can reply to my text if you or she (sorry if you are the same) if you all are open to market value. Logistics would be much easier than other boats I'm considering!
          OR
Perhaps your best bet is waiting until spring. You should be able to eek out another 10% beyond today's market?

          Thank you and respectfully,

          Doug
