I appreciate both of your opinions! Very good stuff.

No offense to anyone but we aren't willing to pay 25K for that boat. More importantly, we don't have the physical cash to purchase a boat for 25K. We are very intentional with our finances and we don't use debt for anything other than our house. However, it is a nice boat and it seems as though he has taken good care of it.

I take no offense, just trying to help a fellow member out. I'm always looking out for deals on boats to try and fix, and there isn't much out there below the 25k mark, and almost nothing below the 20k mark. I'm not just talking Nautiques, but almost every other major inboard brand. I think Trey's boat is the best you are going to find on the lower end of the price range is the only reason I mentioned it. Everyone has a budget, I get it.

I’ve owned 2 99-06 Super Air Nautiques. I’ve watched closely their price over the last 12ish years. 18k$ Isn’t going to get you a turn key boat posted on this forum. You may strike gold on Craigslist, but you’ll have to search daily.

wrap around seating was only offered in 1999 and 2000. (Maybe halfway through 2001).

A Super Sport is what you’ll need to look for. They can be bought without a tower for 18k$.

Bimmerboyz - Thanks for the heads up. The wrap-around seating is more because there is a 2001 Super Sport here in Phoenix and it has the observer seat and a bench in the back. No side bench on the port side of the boat.

As you mentioned I'm a little above your budget and I completely understand that. I also don't mind keeping an eye out for you either. I saw a 95 super sport on FB marketplace yesterday local to me in the mid teens.

Planet Nautique was a success.

We purchased a 1995 Nautique Super Sport. Trey checked it out for me. It was a long drive but super worth it. Randy, the owner of the boat is a Nautique guy as well. He owns a GS24. People in Texas are awesome!!

It has turned out to be a great purchase. We have already had it out 8 times. We surfed, skied and wakeboarded behind it. I just need to do some upgrades now to make it more user-friendly. I need perfect pass, plumb in a ballast system and do FAE, then it will be amazing!
