I grew up driving Nautiques and teaching waterskiing at summer camp and I fell in love with the butter smooth wake, not to mention the sound of the spray coming off the hull on a calm morning. It took me 20 years, but I'm at the stage of life to buy a Nautique and share the same experience with our kids. The wharf on our lake has a rule limiting length of boat, so a Nautique 176 is the only option. Is there anyone out there selling, or know of one sitting that needs to be used again?

So, my wife asked me, "How many people can fit in a 176?"
"I only need a driver and a spotter" says me.
We have 4 kids, so unless the youngest and I sneak out early in the morning and grab our friend on the way to the dock before everyone else wakes up, I am going to have to re-think my plan on the 176. Having read through all of the Nautique specs on this amazing forum, we are now looking for a 1997, 1998, 2000 or 2002 Ski Nautique Open Bow.

I had a 97 Ski and got outted by family size with friends. We now have a 206....a great compromise for a tourney ski boat if you can find one.2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)
1997 Masters Edition Nautique - Zephyr Green - gone (amazing ski wake)

Ski Nautique Open Bows are awesome! I loved the '99 I had. I got to keep mine for a couple of years because it needed a windshield, which was nearly impossible to find. I drove it around without a windshield for about a year. Finally sold it once it was all fixed up, but I miss that one.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We picked up a 206 last year and had a blast this past summer. We live on a very small lake (1.5 miles long) and it is more than enough. It seats 9 with an open bow. If you can find one they are so worth it. I will add that we looked for over two years to find the “right” boat and I stumbled over ours. Good luck in your search. The right boat will find you. My kiddo loves to drive with her feet on while the bot is on the lift….♂️
