I would say there's a number of options for replacing your source unit in an 99. Clarion makes the M608 which is great if you don't want to drill new mounting holes, it fits in the old place exactly. If you wanna do something cheaper, I probably have a clarion with an AUX in, then add a JL bluetooth module. You won't say things like song title or artist name but you'll have volume, next/previous track. Send me a PM with your budget, shipping adress, and how many pairs you need and i'll work you a deal.

In my '98 SNOB I use the Dual Brand reciever form Academy Sports. It works good but don't skimp on your speakers like I did. lIke the looks of these Clarions here. Anybody done a real world review yet?

These have been out for years, they were marketed as clarion marine 6.5"s with white grills. Wellcraft cruises had these installed from the factory, Sea Rays, etc. I'm sure you can find a review of the speaker. They are no JLA M6 speakers but they are great for the price point
