Here's an unsolicited endorsement for having a TechMate Pro; mine just paid for itself and saved me hours of frustration. After I completed work that included pulling the fuel injectors and their wire harness, my boat wouldn't start. It would catch for a second or two and just die. I had thoughts of throttle body, timing, fuel pressure, etc, but a quick scan told me the cam position sensor was not sending a signal. Turns out I had jarred the connection at the distributor just a little loose, but I never would have noticed unless I really looked closely. All it took was a quick snap and I was back in business. I don't want to guess how much time I would have spent debugging the issue without the TMP.
