    WANTED - flight control tower

    Hi all -

I recently picked up a 1998 air. It came without a tower. I would like to buy a used tower (trying to save some cash for other mods) for it before the boating season starts here in Dallas.

    I am considering:
    1) stock (collapsible) flight control tower.
    2) new dimensions tower.

If you have a tower you'd like to get rid of, please contact me via email.

    Thanks!

Responding to your request for a Flight Control Tower. I have one off a 2004 Air Nautique 211. The boat only has 175 hours and is in fantastic shape as is the tower. Asking $1075 and will negotiate shipping costs. Will include Bimini Top that has been used 3 times for an additional $400. New these range from $700-$800. Have pictures if you are interested.

Talk to Buxton, I know for a FACT they have a new scratch and dent brand new one on the lot. Not bad if u don't mind a scratch or two.

If you do get a scratch and dent tower, one option that you can look into is powder coating. I had my tower, engine box vents and pylon trim ring powder coated last week and it covered up a bunch of minor imperfections and it cost less than $200.

thanks for the replies to my post. I'll check into buxton and see what they have. Also, any advice on fitting a tower from a 2004 Air Nautique 211 to a 1998 Air?

Did Nautique even make a 211 in 2004?

Yes, it is a 2004 sv211. I'm not sure how much the dimensions of the boats changed from '98 to '04, you would probably have to check with someone who works for Correct Craft or someone who works with boat towers. I'll attach some pics of it:

Where did you have this done. I was thinking about doing the same on my 2000 SAN.

Did someone take the original tower off, or is this a 98 Sport?

I don't think so. No evidence of a tower ever being mounted. Looks like the original owner just ordered without the tower option. It does have the factory ballast tanks though...

I'm also looking for a tower. I have a 01 Air Nautique, I have been looking at New Dimension Towers. Does anyone know if they are the exact same towers as OEM as far as holes matching up and such?

I've done some research and the local Nautique dealer tells me the new dimension tower is an exact fit using the factory template.
