    Factory Ski Pylon

I am looking to purchase or swap our factory extended pylon for a factory pylon of regular height. Here is a picture of our boat with the extended pylon.

I am not sure if this will work for your boat or not but I just noticed an "open box" one on Nautiqueparts.com for $200. If you go that route don't forget the 10% PND discount code.

I did see that yesterday and am certainly considering it. I am just not sure what to do with the pylon I have. It is actually worth some money....http://www.n3boatworks.com/eshopprod..._Coated___.htm

I had the same pylon on my 99' also. It must have been a popular option then. It does work well for keeping the cover tented, otherwise its a pita for shortening the rope. I used a carabeaner and a short section of rope.

People with actual water sport skills using gear (or no gear) thats requires strength, balance and effort to ride across the water on!! Probably hard for a "surfer" or "wakeboarder" type to relate to, lol

Here are a few pictures of the pylon. Is a pylon that is straight swappable with a pylon that has the slight bend like mine and vice versa? Thanks for the help.

That is kinda harsh, a lot of surfers and some wakeboarders have the skills and resources to overload a boat, and know how to drive it, to put waves and wakes on the maximum amount of smooth water in the least amount of time.

                        LOL

Every now and then I would like to have an extended pylon. But because about 80% of the time my boat is running a course it would be rather obnoxious.

I tried to install a straight one from a 96 ski into my 99' ski. It didn't line up correctly.

I still have mine for sale. It has the bend like yours. Should be an ideal fit in your boat. Am I missing something?
