    Wakeboard rope scraps

My rope got sucked up by a waverunner and I lost about 25 feet. Just seeing if anyone had something similar happen and have scraps laying around in your garage. Just want to add a little length to what is left over.

    Thanks

Scraps ****, we tie it back together and add a section every once in awhile. Rope has sentimental value and is at least 15 years old. Straightline has redone the handle at least 4 times.

Yup, tied together what I could salvage. It got shredded in the waverunner. It's at a decent length. Enough to where I don't want to order a new one. Just hoping to add a few more strands if anyone has them laying around.

          Thanks for the reply Jole.

We were at our local shop and ended up picking up a new line and handle, as well as some other things.

Funny story is, they didn't ring us up for the rope. Didn't notice until we were in our car.

Went right back in and paid for it. They gave us a 15% discount for the good will.

Good for you Toothstud. I sometimes amazed on how many people turn rude and dishonest. Enjoy the new rope!

Definitely make the jet skier pay for the rope.

Yeah and w/o the 15% discount. It wasn't him that went back and paid.

What knot do you use to tie the lines back together?

What about the uni knot? I've used it for fishing.
