Ski Racks for 97 Nautique

Good morning Planet Nautique and greetings from Charlotte.

Do anyone know whether ski racks exist for Nautiques? I don't have a tower so they would be mounted inside the boat.

I think the ski racks would help optimize space for the times we trailer the boat and bring kids to learn to ski. Floor space and bow storage fill up fast.

Is your ski locker full?

Mostly. Adult and combo skis, along with vests fill it up. I usually keep my slalom ski behind the drivers seat.

It would just be nice to store a few skis outside the ski locker so everyone doesn't have to move to lift passenger seat and grab stuff.

I have a pair of factory racks. They look like they should hold two skis but will only do that with very flexible bindings. I can send you a picture if you would like to see them.

Teddy - sorry...I just saw your post. Yes.....would you send me a picture. I am interested in them. I don't have hard shell bindings so maybe it will work.

Sent some more pictures to your email today. They came out of a 97 Ski Nautique, mount to the floor and inside the gunnel with four stainless screws. One removes the combing pad and then screws through the gunnel into the rack. Then you mount the combing pad back on.

I have not yet found the ski locker on my 1997 Ski Nautique, and it only has 2574 hours on it. What am I missing?

I am in a 1992 Ski Nautique with the starboard side ski racks, a lot. They work better for stubbing toes than holding skis.
