I am looking for a nice, newer (2-5 years old) double boot slalom ski. Let me know what you have and what you are looking to get out of it (include shipping to 49341 if possible).
I am an amateur and have been on the same ski my whole life, one that my dad bought probably 20 years ago, so I am not sure what length would be best. I obviously get up with both feet in and I like to run about 31ish MPH, but I don't run a course or anything. Just like carving up the water. I am about 6' 1" and weigh about 195. I wear a 10.5 shoe.
68" or 69" is where you want to be. Do you really want double boots?? Rear toe plate will likely have no + or - effect on your skiing vs double boot and can be friendlier on starts and a hard fall.
Thanks Quinner. I was leaning towards a 69". As far as double boots, I am pretty sure I want to go that route. My bro just got a double boot ski and I really like riding his. Too bad he is 2.5 hours away!
I was hoping to sell you my Connelly F1, so I can buy a longer one. It's too short for you and me too unless I drop some of the weight I picked up. I guess it is back to the gym for me. I would go to waterskimag.com and do some research. They have a world of info and can help fit you to the right ski for your style.
