New to the forum, but I see from a few threads that finding older windshields is no easy task. In desperation, posting to see if anyone might have a port side windshield for 2005 SV211 for sale? From older posts I've tried Taylor Made, some of the larger dealerships, and now reaching out to Ocean Dynamics. Hoping I might get lucky and find one here.

So the saga begins as I'm sure for any other rmember trying to find parts for an older boat. Ocean Dynamics replied with a quote to replace in tempered glass $6,800 - $7,800, (ouch) or if I want use their Polycast at $1,600. Being a purist I prefer the tempered glass to keep original content and match the starboard side. Has anyone actual replace one wing with the polycast alternative? Curious as to color match and long term durability. My experience is typically plastic has a tendency to fog with time.
My other option proposed by my dealer, Silver Spray is to replace the entire windshield with a similar windshield that's readily available. Really not fond of that proposal since it'll entail gelcoat modification. Looking forward to any comments regarding Ocean Dynamics, polycast or tempered glass replacement.

FINALLY found a tempered glass replacement. My dealer, Silver Spray reached out to Nautique directly and after an extensive search found a match for glass size and shape with a black frame. The plan is to replace the black frame with my silver frame at what I consider a fair cost of $2,300 for the port side wing since I was desperate to find an original match. Unfortunately I can't tell you what make/model the replace windshield came from, but will inquire again and hopefully add to this post in the spring.
