WTB: 2006 SV-211 Fuel Tank

Victim of vandalism -- 1" hole drilled in the top of 38-gallon fuel tank. Fuel tank was made by Moeller Marine Model number FT3822. Thank you.

Sucks indeed. To order and have installed a new tank is $2500. Thank you for the number and link. Looking at pipe expansion plug as a fix. They make them for monitoring wells but unsure about potential release of fumes—which wouldn’t be good to say the least. Likely gonna have to bite the insurance bullet. Thanks again.

Maybe start with a smaller patch, like 2" dia, then put a big one over that

puhuta Trying to wrap my head around this. Did they steal your gas or just drill a hole for ****s and giggles? Did they damage anything else?
Why do people do things like this?!

MN Ryan, they stole about 30 gallons of gas and 4 older 6.5 speakers (not all 6 or the tower speakers). They popped out a non-removable plug from a ballast tank looking for gas (not too bright) so that's another hole I have to fix. But did not take my new PerfectPass, stereo head unit, any equipment--skis, wakeboards, inflatables, or my 2 new marine batteries. No damage done other than the holes. I'm with you, a lot of vandalizing for $120 worth of gas and speakers you couldn't sell on E-bay.
