Does anyone have a prop puller they want to sell for 1-1/8 inch shaft?

That's a steal and doesn't look much different than my $150 Acme puller!

jtryon Thanks! Do you see any issues with the Pin end design of this puller vs the Cup end design of the Acme one?

I just checked out my shaft. Has a pin indent on the end.I think this one will work well. Ordering it now. Thanks again.

honestly haven't even taken it out of the bubble wrap since it came in so i didn't notice that. you could just shave the pin off, but my prop shaft has an indent on the end of it that the pin could sit in when using the puller, so that's probably by design.

It won't work right w/o the pin or without the cup. Otherwise, as you tighten it, the screw will try to "walk" off center from the shaft and it'll c-o-c-k the puller.

I think the Acme puller with the cup is somewhat better. But for this price, this looks pretty good assuming your shaft does have a machining dimple in the center. I'd probably throw a bit of grease on the end of the screw to make it work better. You also don't need to crank down super hard on a puller like this. Just put a moderate amount of force on the prop and then tap the screw end of the puller to create some vibration with your wrench. Don't beat on it. If it doesn't pop, put a little more tension on the puller and try again. Just keep doing that until it pops loose.

I've also learned the hard way to leave the prop nut on with lots of slack so the prop can't come flying off when it pops.

My eBay cheap puller showed up today. Looks good. Fit’s good. As long as your shaft has the hole in the end to hold the puller on center should work.
