Perhaps they assume that the rear tower legs are the same distance from the rubrail? I think that they might be, but like I said, I printed the form from their website and filled it out based on that. Perhaps I will give them a call and see what they say.

TRBenj,
Would you be kind enough to post a photo showing how the Rankin cover fits on the stern of your 1990 Ski Nautique. I bought a cover in Feb. that arrived today, but there were no instructions. Thanks for any help on this.

Bert, I really need to take a pic- unfortunately I dont have one. Here is a pic of a '93 that will get you started, though:
My '90 is a bit different, as I dont have the grab handle. Instead, Im able to put the straps that extend from the top of the cover through the grooves in the platform (I removed the plexi). What you cant see in the pic is that on all 90-96 boats, you'll want to attach the rubrail rope/straps to each other UNDER the platform (I go through the brackets). This part was not intuitive the first time I put the cover on. The padded pouches will end up right on the corners of the hull to protect the gel.1990 Ski Nautique

Keith, I just responded to your PM, but Ill post here so everyone can see the anwer:
They do have felt in critical places- though Im not sure if the new ones have felt everywhere it touches the gel. This is one change that Rankin was considering making within the last year. I got my cover a year ago with the first group buy (so mine doesnt have 100% coverage with felt) and mine does not chaff the gel at all. I towed over 2500 miles last summer and it worked great. Ive got the deck of my boat buffed to a nice shine, so if it the cover want tight, Id know it!
