Be Patient. My April 17th order is still a week or 2 away!

I really hope this cover is good. I have been patiently waiting and have called twice to be told that it was either cut or scheduled and I should be a week or two out. Last time I was told that there were "emergency" orders from a dealer. Given that they took payment 6 weeks ago, I would think I would be an emergency. I was told it would be here this week....we'll see.Eric Fox

Good luck with getting it this week. I just called them and they said mine will ship out next week. I paid 8 weeks ago. At this point, it doesn't really matter. The money is gone. The product is being built, and when it gets here it gets here. Everyone on here who has one swears by it, so I believe it is as good as they say it is.

And you are happy about that? I think you are right, there are a lot of people that seem very happy with the cover. I have also heard a lot of complaints about ill fitting covers, which some attribute to the need to stretch it a bit. I guess I will wait and see. What I am not happy about is being charged long before they even start to build the cover. If I have paid...that cover better be on it's way in 10 days or less. Also to be told that there were "emergency covers" for a dealer...I mean come on. I was told that there were better than 60 covers ordered. Do the math on that one and tell me you have an "emergency" for someone else. Like I said I hope it is "that good" but we aren't starting out where I would like to be. I added some custom things and I am darn near $1000 on this cover.Eric Fox

For the past 3 weeks they have given me the same answer, it's due to be cut in a couple of days, today they told me they've been out of the color......if I had known I could have switched colors. You are right about the money, many companies don't bill until they ship. Looks like another weekend with a pain in the *** cover.

I just called Rankin (yet again) yesterday. They said there are 5 covers to made before mine this time and my cover will be shipped out Friday the 25th. Now it doesn't take a genius to figure this out but lets do the math for fun.
Ordered April 23rd.
Ship out date of July 25th.
Looks like a little over 13 weeks to me. Now, since I was told that my cover would be at my doorstep in 6-8 weeks, it really makes me wonder whats going on over there at the shop....

I havent seen any pictures of a 206 with a Rankin, but I suspect it would be very similar to the 216 pics posted on the first page of this thread. Due to the way the Rankin attaches, its impossible for the base cover to extend over the platform. I had them add a rear skirt for mine so it covered the transom and teak- it zips on just like the other skirts.1990 Ski Nautique

For what it's worth, my cover finally showed up at my door on the 17th. I haven't had time to take it out of the box, but I pulled out the invoice and everything shows that they took my order correctly. I will try to fit it this week as the boat is in the water and collecting debris from the overhanging trees.Eric Fox

Does anyone have a picture of the cover from the transom on one of the "euro" tail boats? I am a little confused about how to route the straps connected to the rope on the perimeter of the boat. There isn't anythgin to keep the corners secure on the rubrail on this model. Other than that I can say that the cover fits very well and is extremly well made.

Got mine yesterday, 7/29, put it on today-- nice piece of workmanship and fits glove-like.
Just waited took too long (12 weeks) to get here after Rankin promised 6-8 weeks.
The lesson I learned-- be wary of group buys for products that have to be manufactured. Group buyers will slide down the priority list when full price payers appear.
