Can Anyone give me some info on the 2011 Tower Bimini tops. Our dealer is trying to sell us a roswell bimini top. Are they a pain to put on? is it removable? do you tow your boat with the bimini top on? any info would be greatly appreciated Thanks.

I ordered mine last year. I had a hard time justifying the 1000 for a bimini too. I will say after getting it, the quality of everything I recieved was great. One bracket had to be modified a little to make it work (the reciever for one leg was not machined enough, I had to dremel it out a little to get the screw to line up) The top is awesome quality, and the stainless frame was killer. Doing a bimini was the best money I spent on my boat hands down and would drop another 1000 for one from these guys. The strapless look and the full frame is clean, and well designed.

The Roswell top looks to be pretty small...At least the one I saw on a 230, size may be ok on a 210...

I have been back and forth with John over the last few days.....

He is putting the finishing touches on the 2011 over the top bimini and expects to be done in a few weeks....Then he is planning on working on a under the tower bimini for the 2011's....Definitely interested to see how that works out since I can't use a Z5 with my Westsound 485s on my 2011 FCT 5......

Yah we had the choice of the over the top or the Z5 after looking at the Z5 we decided to go with it so we will see how it goes because we have to take it off to put our tower down at the end of every weekend so we can lift out boat up close to the canopy. Our dealer just got back from the factory and our boat is sitting there ready to be shipped so we got to see some pictures of it can wait to see it in person. What colour choices did you go with?

I need a bimini and have been looking on the internet. It's my first boat and not sure which way to go and am looking for recommendations.

Haven't bought anything yet. I want to see how the Tower Bimini is going to look before I jump on that. My dealer is still trying to talk to Z5 and see if they can modify the cargo rack so we can use it with 485's on the tower.
