I will get some dimensions when I pick up the boat from storage
Here is a thread we started a while back: (not sure how to link it)
Can a 220's ski pole be converted to a pop up?

There are pictures of my homemade version near the end of the thread.

It is mounted with u-bolts to the aluminum frame that the original pole was secured to. I have no way.....yet.....to pull it up other than open the engine compartment.

Very interesting adaptation of the factory pole! Looks like you've got the concept down. The most critical dimension is the deck to the lowest support, when you pick up your boat, measure that dimension.

You will definitely be able to extent the Tachyon pylon without opening the engine compartment as well!

Thanks One thing I noticed it that if the OD of the tube grows it needs to span the lower L bar at the are not planar from a top down point of view. Do you know the dimensions of the Tachyon Pylon's OD?

Yes, the Tachyon Pylon OD is 2.5" for the 'tube', and the pylon itself is 2" diameter. The bottom of the 'tube' is designed such that it allows the standard 2.5" U-bolt (which is a 2" diameter on the ID) to clamp on the bottom.

I'm not sure on final pricing, though at the moment it is looking to be in the upper $600's - plus shipping.

One more update...with 10 days left in the group buy, Tachyon has sweetened the deal! If we have 12 participants, they will give us all a free set of machined FCT knobs!! This is a $99 value, and will also come with the free shipping. Awesome!!! Let's do this...

Measurements seem a little off from my 2002 SANTE. What's the return policy? Also, how close are we to the 12 needed for the knobs?

I would be in if there is some sort of return guarantee if it doesn't fit. Count me in in the meantime and I'll email Rick separately about the return policy.

Any chance this will work on my 2007 to replace where the rear pop up tow ring is?
Let me know please as I'm in if it works

If you take measurements and it is out of the tolerance shown in the print above, please email me a few snapshots of the area & I will follow up with you. I may be able to make some slight modifications to accommodate your boats - BUT please keep in mind, this has to be done BEFORE I produce the parts. Once the parts are cut, I cannot make alterations...or at least I can't make anything 'larger'.

As for the 2007 model, I do not believe this will fit, but if you want to take some measurements and photos (try to show a tape measure in the photos), I will see if there is something I can do.

For this group buy, returns are not accepted.

Please call if you have any questions, or if your seatback is not the same as shown in the video - or if ANY of the dimensions are out of range from the print shown in the post above. Normally I have a no questions asked return policy, but these units are very time intensive, and have a very limited application.

At this point, given the limited interest, I am not planning to stock these parts in the future - so if you have any interest in this product, now is the time to get onboard & get the info needed to see if it is going to fit properly, etc... you won't want to miss out on this offer.

The current count (including tentative orders) is (6):

                              2. Echolodge 1999 SS

                              6. GoBig 2003 SAN

                              Thanks!

                              Rick

I have to drop out due to my boat budget being blown by the need for a hyrdofoil rack. Sorry all.
