    2008 to current SANTE 210 ... Replace Carpet with SeaDek

    Kind of wondering how many of us would be interested in replacing our carpet with SeaDek?

    See below email and response from SeaDek received today, 9/5/2012:

    Scott,
    Thanks for your interest in SeaDek. We don't have a pattern for your boat. You can make Mylar templates for us and we would be able to make custom pads for you. The largest sheet we produce is 39" wide by 77" long. This covers approximately 20 square feet. The cost of this in our embossed material is $290.00 a sheet for custom work and $360.00 for our faux teak material custom work. Our product is made to go over existing non skid. If it is really aggressive feeling we do recommend sanding lightly. When you take the carpet up you will have to clean the surface very well. Any left over residue will cause bubbles to form in the SeaDek and this is not warrantied. There are several videos on our website www.seadek.com that can help you with the preparation as well as your installation. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
    Thank you,
    Susan Wilson

    Subject:replace carpet
    Message:as you know more and more of us nautique owners are thinking of replacing their carpet with seadek. i have a 2008 super air nautique 210. the prior owner already had dealer replace oem sano pad with your faux teak titanium. wondering if anyone as asked you to do provide for replacing all the carpet? do you have a pattern? approx cost? also do you think it would be problematic to use your product in this way since below carpet is somewhat textured for antislip when carpet is out. Obviously pretty important to not have water trapped underneath. Thoughts? thanks scott

      I was quoted $640 by seadek, so i am guessing we need more people before it will much cheaper. i a guessing i will end up running my carpet another few years at that price....

        I am bailing out on this even though I started it. Nautique parts had replacement carpet too cheap to pass up...

        I just figure I can go back and forth between the sets. So will always be able to have a dry set in.

              I would be in for a FAUX TEAK SeaDek for my 2010 210, would that include the platform?

                  @shelby

                  I looked into this above, but I didn't have the funds this season and my SANO pads are still kinda softish.

                  Interior kit is 605.00
                  Deck is 348.00
                  3 piece rear steps are 84.00
                  Add the 10% planet discount to all of those and were in business.

                      I'm new here. Is there a 10% disc for PN members? I am definitely planning to get this stuff. Love it in areas I already have it on my 2012 SANTE 210.
