Wow, that is MUCH better than expected...especially the free shipping part.

If you could also ask the dealer, what would be the cost for a kit ?
Kit which means the Prop Case, the "C" Clamp and necessary tools.
I think OJ calls it "Just in Case" Kit....and Acme calls theirs..."Weekend
Saver" kit.

I am considering between a 644 or the 856.....I should finalize by next week.

Since you guys are talking about props,
I just installed a brand new Acme 536. I previously had an OJ that was on my SAN when I purchased it used. It had a lot of dings and even a few tears in the edges of it. the boat ran pretty smooth and even had a top end around 45 mph. But I rode in a new X-2 last year and felt what a smooth prop felt like, so I ordered a new one this winter. I changed out my prop with the new one. I had 4 people in my boat yesterday average weight 175 plus about 1300 ballast, and the boat was so so smooth, it planed really fast too. Best purchase to date excluding Perfect pass.

RPMS = Medium
Hole Shot = Good
Top Speed = Fair

This was going to be my spare prop, until I started using it. I was pretty impressed with this prop, quite a bit better hole shot than the prop that came with my boat. RPMs were slightly higher and top end was slightly lower than with the factory prop.
