That thread at WSR is really old. We tried doing something like this once, and we didn't get enough interest.

There was a successful PP group buy on the Mastercraft site. I know the WSR thread is old, but there are several newly interested folks, and someone is pricing dealers right now. Probably we should start a new thread over there.

I have seen this tried on several sites and I have tried to pull some strings myself. It really does not make a big difference you only end up saving a few bucks and maybe shipping after all the dust settles. I don't think it's worth the effort when the savings is so small.

The savings were a couple hundred bucks on the MC board. That's worth it to me, I guess.
