Group Buys, how do they work to get the discountsfrom PP and Roswell?

I'm thinking this winter to work on my 96 Super Sport that needs everything...like to do PP, Roswell Aviator, racks, bags, sound sys $$$$$! I need all the group buy discounts I can get. How do these group buys get the discounts from these manufacturers?

I was on the Perfect Pass group buy thread from 2014 and already 4 people in the last couple hours are interested

Just contact the manufacturer and see if they will do one, at what price, and what minimum order.

Also, the used equipment classifieds are great. I have bought a lot there, and will soon be selling some stuff there.

The Board Shop is an online dealer listed on Roswell's website and were the cheapest I found when ordering my Aviator tower. Their website is bswake.com and ask for Jayson Rishling if you call. Good people to deal with!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Wasn't to sure if the manufacturers would work with the general public or if you had to be a dealer of theirs. The last 2014 PP group buy was sponsored by Jody of Florida Inboards but he didn't want to do it again based on his last post. I'll give PP a call see what they say.

As for the classifieds, agreed you can get good used equip but on something electronic and selling $500-1K I prefer to have a business to go back to if something isn't working properly. Besides, I don't know if it would come with the latest firmware and then may have to buy a upgrade for it, could get ugly.

I'll keep you posted on what PP says.

found the White model at Overton's for $2599.99, with 15% discount it's $2210. thinking on just pulling the trigger on this
