Fresh Air Exhaust Group Buy - Spring 2018

Okay all - I am finally upgrading my 05' 226 with a FAE this spring. Please join me if you want one for your boat so we can all enjoy the discount! Below are the details for how to capture the discount. Enjoy!

The Fresh Air Exhaust team appreciates all the support we’ve had (and continue to have) from the Nautique boat owners. We are extending a group buy discount that will run from 1/2/18 –1/12/18. Anyone ordering online can use promo code “NEWYEAR18”, or when ordering by phone, you must mention that you are with the Planet Nautique group buy. When entered, this code will apply a $50 discount to the order. If the group buy reaches 5 or more participants, the discount will bump up to $75 off each order.

All online orders are processed manually, meaning that no charge will be made to your card until you have received an order confirmation. This discount cannot be combined with other offers, and is valid ONLY on direct, retail, new orders only. We are currently running an estimated two to three week turnaround but will work to complete your order as quickly as possible.

Anyone interested can learn more about available options at http://www.freshairexhaust.com/about-us/fae-options/. Orders can be placed by phone 512.647.7321 or online at http://www.freshairexhaust.com/your-boat/. As Correct Craft’s placement of their exhaust outlets varies for most year models, we will likely need to verify measurements on your boat to complete the build of your system. If this is the case, we will follow up with you once the order has been placed. Call or email us atmail@freshairexhaust.com with any questions.

A little information about Fresh Air Exhaust – The Original Surf Exhaust:

Join the thousands of other boat owners that have upgraded their boat with the CLEANEST and QUIETEST exhaust available.
    Why FAE?
    * PROTECT YOUR FAMILY - FAE reduces Carbon Monoxide and other exhaust gas at least 90%
    * STEREO UPGRADE / NO MORE YELLING!- FAE reduces exhaust noise levels approx. 50%
    * FAE does not change boat handling, performance, or wake
    * FAE is patented and an American made, family owned and operated business
    HOW DOES IT WORK?
*FAE works by injecting the boat’s exhaust gases into the prop wash, pushing the exhaust away from the boat
Order today at www.FreshAirExhaust.com or 512.647.7321. We are the ORIGINAL SURF EXHAUST!

Anybody have experience putting one of these on a '96 or so SS? I mostly want it for the quieter ride as I haven't added ballast yet for surfing. Just curious if anyone has any first hand type experience.

Here is a video of an install on a bubble but Ski Nautique.

        Should be similar.

Thanks Blamey, just wondering the difference anyone had first hand. Tough to hear based on the video but definitely seems to help. Keep in mind, I don't really mind the throaty sound now but the wife would appreciate it and as I help the kids try to ski and board, it might be easier for them to hear me.

While I built my own system and didn't run a genuine FAE the one I built for my boat was very similar and I can tell you the noise reduction is HUGE and well worth it just for the quiet boat alone!

I put one on. With my own fabricated mount System (didn’t love the erector set look). Just stainless round bar (5/8”) struts TIG welded to the FAE pipe with flanges which bolt to the bottom of the ski step.

Highly recommend it. Used to have station wagon exhaust affect at surf speeds. Exhaust sucked in to the boat.

Reduced noise is a great benefit too. My one amp, 4 small speakers can now be heard at speed.

I would be one of the hibernators! I have a 01 sport Nautique and have occasionally gotten a exhaust smell at cruising speeds. My question is how much does this pipe change your wake behind the boat ? I assume it’s pretty secure because I would think it would have a lot of force pushing it against it when your moving at fast speeds? I am considering purchasing one and additional input would be greatly appreciated

Hands down this is one of the best things we did to our previous 230.

Since mine is attached to my ski platform, I see that moving things quite a bit. I don't cruise faster than 30. So I am probably not the one to ask.

I think forces rise with cube of speed, do they ramp up fast. I do see a small rooster behind the pipe. Not sure how that would translate at ski speeds. Still, the pipe is in the prop wash, which is pretty turbulent. I'd probably ask FAE how this affects ski wakes. Someone, I'm sure has taken pictures.
                      I'm very happy with mine.

I would contact FaE and see. I bet they would still give you discount.

I emailed them 2 weeks ago and they still gave me the discount. I've turned in my measurements and am excited to get it and install it on my 2007 236. Any tips on the install? The swim platform has the 4 bolt pattern with no spacer.
